We are a group of 5 students and 6 volunteers from around the country who offer the public free interpretive programs around Mt. Hood National Forest.**
Based in ZigZag, Oregon in the beautiful Mt. Hood corridor, we work to inform the community and offer educational and entertaining activities to enjoy at Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood Skibowl, the Barlow Road, the ZigZag Ranger Station History House, Trillium Lake, Timothy Lake and other locations throughout the forest.
Programs include tours of historic Timberline Lodge, nature hikes, campfire programs, children’s activities, special events and more.
The Mt. Hood National Forest Volunteer Interpretive Program is experiencing a revitalization this year, and we hope to make this blog a fun way for you to find out what’s going on in the forest. Check back for more information weekly!
